More Information-Clean Air In Asia

20 years ago living in some parts of America, the air is so polluted. Nowadays, it's hard to name even one city in developing Asia that does not have an air pollution problem. But smoking is something is something that people do by choice, breathing filthy air is not.
Air pollution affects the most vulnerable: young children and the elderly.
For example:
If you live in Guangzhou,China, your chances of getting lung cancer from polluted air are greater than getting the disease from smoking.
Yet while ample anti-smoking programmes exist, environmental health is still not a priority for many governments, donors and foundation. The most significant pollution are the transport, industrial and power-generation sectors, which all cause air pollution in many forms. Fine dust, called particulate matter, (
